Call on your Senators to Protect Medicaid

The Senate is considering a budget plan right now that could result in significant cuts to Medicaid, hurting the 1 in 3 people with a mental health condition who rely on Medicaid to access care. The House has already passed a budget plan that, according to nonpartisan analysis, would require deep cuts to Medicaid if finalized by the Senate. Your Senators need to hear from you TODAY to protect Medicaid and protect mental health before they vote – which could happen within the next week.

In order for the budget process to move forward, both chambers must pass the same budget. Medicaid pays for 1 in 4 dollars spent on mental health and substance use care in this country. Tell your Senators not to pass the disastrous cuts included in the House version of this budget.

Congress needs to find a way forward without making drastic funding cuts to Medicaid. We need your voice RIGHT NOW to urge your Senators to protect Medicaid and mental health!
